What are Pride Partners?
The 2025 McKinney Pride Partners on the Square are queer-affirming businesses in Historic Downtown McKinney. In order to be named a Pride Partner on the Square, these stores have been identified as meeting the following qualifications:
- Employ members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and uphold nondiscriminatory, inclusive hiring practices.
- Offer products and services that are made by and/or for the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
- Welcome the use of gender expansive pronouns and expression among staff and customers.
- Do not allow the presence of discriminatory language or behavior, microaggressions, or invalidation of queer identities in their place of business.
